Florida's Day in DNC Court
Fri May 30, 2008 at 09:25:37 AM PDT
Florida House Democratic Leader Dan Gelber cross-posted this at www.dangelber.com.
Tomorrow Florida Democrats will have their day in Court. Well sort of. It is my hope that after the finger pointing subsides, Democrats will recognize that who gets seated in Denver in August is not nearly as important as who receives the oath in Washington in January.

Florida House Democratic Leader Dan Gelber: I Choose Obama.
Wed May 07, 2008 at 08:12:24 PM PDT
Florida's House Democratic Leader Dan Gelber today announced that he is endorsing Senator Obama. Gelber is one of Florida's uncounted super delegates and has been at the front of the charge for a new Florida primary. Gelber also led the Florida Democratic Party in 2006 to its best year in the State House in history, picking up nine seats.
Gelber was also the Democrat who proposed that the Republicans back away from their efforts to set the primary on January 29th, a move that was laughed at on the floor of the State House by House Republican Rules Committee Chairman David Rivera. To hear the audio of that debate, Gelber posted it on his personal blog here: Gelber Blog, Republican Primary Debate.
His full Obama endorsement is after the flip.
FL-24 Let's Beat Tom Feeney-- Suzanne Kosmas for Congress
Fri Oct 12, 2007 at 09:55:27 PM PDT
I was elated to learn that former State Representative Suzanne Kosmas has decided to take on corrupt Congressman Tom Feeney.
As a long time observer of Florida politics, I have met Kosmas on many occasions and personally saw her in action in the Florida House. She is a tough-minded and independent woman, who had a reputation for always challenging the conventional wisdom.
