The Giant Has Awoken

Tue Nov 02, 2004 at 02:56:34 PM PDT

90% Voter Turnout? The GOP is about to find out who the party of the people really is. I cannot get this quote out of my head:

"I fear that we have awakened a sleeping giant and filled him with a terrible resolve"

Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto
Empire of Japan
December 7th, 1941

George Bush has filled this nation with a terrible resolve.

Protesting Unverified Voting - IMPORTANT

Tue Nov 02, 2004 at 07:58:08 AM PDT

I did two vital things today:

  1. I voted for Michael Badnarik (took 2 minutes)
  2. I lodged a formal complaint that my vote wasn't verified (took 40 minutes)

Below, I explain both. Please, join me in protesting your local Diebold machine when you vote today. With your help, our votes may count in 2008.

Bush's Latest Flip Flop

Tue Aug 31, 2004 at 01:10:59 PM PDT

[Salon]:

Lauer: "You said to me a second ago, one of the things you'll lay out in your vision for the next four years is how to go about winning the war on terror. That phrase strikes me a little bit. Do you really think we can win this war on terror in the next four years?"

President Bush: "I have never said we can win it in four years."

Lauer: "So I'm just saying can we win it? Do you see that?"

President Bush: "I don't think you can win it."

There will only be one debate this entire election

Tue Aug 24, 2004 at 11:23:57 AM PDT

The debate will be Edwards/Cheney, and it will be on a Tuesday at Case Western Reserve University. Old news, probably. But the implications could be huge.
