Why do we place our trust in politicians to ensure our rights as human beings?  There is a pretty serious logic gap when we talk about our "certain unalienable rights".  We place our complete trust in "politicians".  It's misplaced.  IMHO.  We've been trampled and stomped on and made complacent.  Make no mistake, we are SHEEP.  Whether you accept that term or not.  It is what we are.  

We rely on a media run by a few power hungry wolves to inform us.  How pathetic!  These sad days are dictated by hungry money mongers!  They REFUSE to be denied their "power".  However pathetic that "power" may be.  

Think for yourselves!  You capitulate to the rules of the game set before you.  Like this is some sort of board game.  Wake up!!!!!!!

In my eyes (jaded, cynical and warped as they may be) everyone is human.  Period.  I've been labeled a racist here countless times because of my opinions and views on this presidential primary and Barack Obama.  Nothing can be further from the truth.  I was raised different than to be ignorant like that.    

I want racism to disappear.  I hate it. I hate talking about it.  I hate thinking about what those in power have done to, not only blacks, all different type of people.  Even Irish people have been subjected to the ignorant swath of generalization, characterization, discrimination and prejudice.  Racism knows many more than only people of color.  It knows pasty white too.

Disclaimer:  I am completely disabused of any notion of fairness here at DailyKos in regards to this historical Democratic primary.  I realize 99.98% of the people who post here are ABSOLUTELY rabid, blinded supporters of Barack Obama.  I fully expect and (I'll go out on a flimsy limb here) predict relentless Anti-Clinton flaming.  I say this because that is what all of the debate devolves into here at DailyKos.  It's just one of those pesky little facts.

I came across this today and it brought a sobering view of Obama.  The Obama no one wants to talk about.

A point by point rebuttal of every single one of Obama's "virtues" that he would love to bestow upon his own bloated ego and flimsy character.  I know this article cited here will be derided as "biased" and unfounded, but, I know better.  Therein contains ZERO vitriol, sound reasoning and factual accounts (for the most part) of Obama's true character (flimsy and extemely weak by all accounts).

There's more beyond this fold...if you have the balls to read it.      

First I want to start off this diary by saying that I do not support his candidacy and in the General Election I might protest with a vote for whoever I feel like writing in.  

I guess I should probably explain this as most of you are very vocal majority that is Obamatron.  I don't fault any of you for supporting him and I am sure if elected he would do the best he could.  

Here is my reason for not supporting Obama:  I don't like him.  There are myriad reasons I could cite of why I don't care for the guy.  The main reason is:  he's tryin to play me for a sucker.  More on that in a minute.  

He's been making great speeches since 2004 which have effectively "fired up" a new Democratic Base.  A demographic nightmare for any other candidate in the field.  This fire has been fueled for 7 long years under a regime that will undoubtedly go down in History as the most upside down, corrupt, lying and generally offensive administrtions.  I can be happy that people are waking up from this neo-con nightmare and doing what we should:  kick the bastards out of office.    

Justice is served to two of the biggest scumbags ever to walk the good green earth.  Houston will be a much cleaner place with these two gone, relatively speaking of course.  I cannot tell you how happy I am to see these two convicted of conspiracy and securities and wire fraud.  If its good for Ebbers and the rest it certainly fits the bill for these two.

Lets hope they get a lengthy sentence and lots of money siphoned from their big fat bank accounts while their former employees still look for ways to make ends meet.  These two deserve it more than any other white-collar criminal because they destroyed so many peoples lives with lies and deceit.  Hopefully, those former Enron employees can find some solace in this juries conviction of Lay and Skilling.
