Following up on my diary from Monday, I heard that Barack will be campaigning for Deval Patrick tomorrow.

To properly introduce this diary, I should note that from what I've heard and seen, I really like Barack Obama. His words can be very inspiring. However, words are not enough, especially in this election cycle. Which is why I was very dismayed to hear that Senator Obama has refused to campaign in person for Ned Lamont, prompting the following letter:

I received a fundraising letter from the DCCC today that had the slogan "We Democrats Need to Help Each Other". Perhaps you received the same fundraising appeal?

Have you written yours yet? These letters do affect public opinion, especially if there's a lopsided ratio in favor of one side or the other. We need to show our Democratic senators that they will be supported in a filibuster.

I believe that Kerry's message on Iraq should be:

If you elect me, I will win the war in Iraq.

Ideally, he will say something exactly like that during tonight's debate.
