Should Bush be pardoned?

Wed Dec 27, 2006 at 09:15:13 AM PDT

If/when the Frat Boy Emperor and the Excutive Low-life Who Is Really In Charge get their asses handed to them, should Pelosi, as the new president, pardon these fuckers?

With the death of Gerald Ford, the issue of his pardoning Tricky Dick has been hailed by the Corporate Media as being "in the best interests of America".

That, clearly, is bullshit.

Who is the coolest Bond?

Sun Dec 17, 2006 at 06:33:47 AM PDT

To be honest the only Bond films i can stomach are the 60's ones with Connery and Lazenby. It's unfortunate Lazenby starred in only one film, we could have been spared all those execrable Bonds of the 70's and 80's at least.

No arguing today: top 10 sci-fi flims

Fri Dec 15, 2006 at 10:39:02 AM PDT

A good sci-fi diary got me thinking about the great and not so great sci-fi films i've seen. The memorable ones are not really about outer space, they're about inner space:

Kucinich for Pres. Pt1: Healthcare

Wed Dec 13, 2006 at 11:42:48 AM PDT

Dennis get's it:

We must establish streamlined national health insurance, "Enhanced Medicare for Everyone." It would be publicly financed health care, privately delivered, and will put patients and doctors back in control of the system. Coverage will be more complete than private insurance plans; encourage prevention; and include prescription drugs, dental care, mental health care, and alternative and complementary medicine.

The Case for Kucinich

Mon Dec 11, 2006 at 04:45:35 PM PDT

I'm not going to waste time talking about his positions: you know what they are. They happen to be the same things many of you profess to support (when you're not bashing the man that is). Unlike the other candidates, he walks it like he talks it.

Politics is not rocket science - if you need proof of that, take a look at some of the fools currently in office. QED.

So here it is: whoever the Dem candidate is he is: a) NOT going to get any Republican votes (that goes double for war-monger Hillary); b) WILL get almost ALL registered Democratic votes, regardless of who the candidate is. I told you it's simple.

Palestine DURING Zionism

Wed Nov 22, 2006 at 04:12:04 PM PDT

A couple of minutes into this video there is the most eloquent little girl i've ever seen. I wish they would play this on prime time news, but they are not interested in Palestinians. Even if they were, the Israeli military wouldn't let them into the occupied territories to document whats happening.

And you can't even send money to Palestine: you'll be charged with aiding terrorism.

This must end. You, as liberals, need to pressure your representatives to act Now. Generations of Palestinians have grown up refugee camps, F-16s buzzing over them every night, and Israeli tanks surrounding them.

Iraq-Iran: The Just Solution

Tue Nov 21, 2006 at 08:30:32 AM PDT

There's going to be a bloody civil war if America stays or increases troop levels. Guaranteed. Everyone knows this. If they leave right now there's going to a be a bloody civil war. Guaranteed. Everyone knows this. Those are the Iraqi facts.

Dividing Iraq into three states is insane: no oil sharing agreement can ever be reached, civil war is again inevitable. Not to mention that the Kurds are being played by both Israeli and American black-ops right now and we know what happens to intelligence assets in the end: they get screwed.

Increasing Iraqi police and military numbers is pointless: 65% of them are
going to be Shiite and that's where their allegiance ultimately lies. Again, civil war.
