This diary is only about Joy, Happiness, and Elation. We've done it. Unbelievable. Yes we can indeed.

This diary is only about Joy, Happiness, and Elation. We've done it. Unbelievable. Yes we can indeed.
In light of Clinton's remarks today, this clip of Michelle Obama speaking in Iowa is very relevant and well worth watching once again. This was back before the Iowa caucus - they weren't afraid then, they're not afraid now, and neither are we.
He does this all day. The closer we've come to the actual nomination, the more excited he's become. We're thinking of taking him to Telegraph Hill for a rally.
The Harvey Weinstein phone call to Nancy Pelosi has been reported and referenced in a number of diaries today, but a quote I found very interesting which hasn't gotten much attention is this (from the CNN article):
But the three officials briefed on the call insisted Weinstein went further by suggesting that if Pelosi did not consider his proposal on the revote, he would help slow the flow of donations to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, which works to elect House Democrats.
Slow the flow, catchy. Let's catch it. It's one thing to express your personal opinion in support of a candidate, it's quite another to extend that to an intentional plan to harm the Party, and the Country, by extending that to downticket races. It doesn't take wealth and an hyper-extended ego to play that game.
The Weinstein Company has a new movie coming out June 6th, The Promotion. I suggest we all do the "slow the flow" to the box office on that date, and give a call of our own to the Weinstein Company to tell them so.
Their number is: 646-862-3400
Obama has a new 2 minute ad running in NC and Indiana which is the most focussed ad I've seen from him in a long time. Combining both history and the message of a new politics, it takes the Gas Tax Holiday and uses it as the perfect example for why we need to do more than just change parties in the White House this election:
Great new viral video for Obama written and performed by Andres Useche. Directed by Eric Byler.
Edited by Warren Fu.
Chris Cillizza on Washington Post's Politics blog lists the Obama Inner Circle. Would love to hear comments on or experience with the people selected.
