But the little hatchlings, why did they have to bury them alive?
Yesterday, May 8, 2007, the Government of Israel once more demolished the entire village of Twail Abu-Jarwal in the Israeli Negev: 30 tents and huts.
Sunset, the stifling heat of the day had lifted, we sat as the villagers related the destruction that occurred in the morning. They arrived at 9:30 am, two bulldozers accompanied by scores of armed police, people, and a handful of youth from the West Bank settlements – "workers" – to demolish the entire village.
The Regional Council for the Unrecognized Villages together with the Sheep Herders Committee invite you to a

Join Us! Do not stay quiet while the government discriminates against our weakest!
Again Demolitions Orders. And Again 250 Citizens of Israel are Threatened by their Government to Become Homeless.
There are 1,200 members in the El-Uqbi tribe. Today they live in the unrecognized village of Al-Qrein in the Israeli Negev. Today they received demolition orders on their homes.
The Government Of Israel is Destroying the Main Livelihood of the Bedouin Population in Israel: Raising Sheep, and Intensifying Poverty.
Over 80% of the Bedouin children live under the poverty line.
Over 25% of the Bedouin population earns its living from raising sheep.
This news report we at RCUV knew about. It came from the Alternative Information Center in Jerusalem. The Israel government sent out eviction notices to Bedouins living in the Negev in the unrecognized village of al-Nasasra. The Association of Forty (meaning forty villages) represents the village and organized a meeting of Israeli and international workers.
