Please disregard the multiple repeat of the sentences, but I realized I do not have the time to type worthwhile diaries on this site and I used my previous diaries to share some quirky humor or to alert other bloggers to matters that I thought needed further investigation...by someone other than myself. I have learned that type of diary is not appreciated and, thus, I will either find the time to write substantive diaries or not post at all. I repeated the above sentence because I needed 300 characters for my mea culpa to post.

The 2008 Harkin Steak Fry was a great, but blustery day. I am happy to say that Senator Harkin was again a good host, Governor Brian Schweitzer gave an excellent speech and Lieutenant Patty Judge may have stolen the show.

As I wrote Before, on 9/4/08: Today is the AFL-CIO's Walk for Labor (Sept. 4) and on talk radio I heard an ad, paid for by the DOJ and the Ad Council, with an ominous sounding narrator telling people not to answer their doors if someone they don't know is knocking. Coincidence...
