We keep hearing about how Barack is not getting the white working class vote and that will doom him in November. Yet, nobody has said anything about Hillary not getting the black vote. In fact, she hasn't even come close to getting the black vote.

After watching the debate and reading all of the reviews from the "professional" pundits I noticed a strong disconnect. The "professional" pundits all thought that Obama lost the debate. They said he looked tired, beat up, he was always on the defensive and exoplaining himself, he didn't come across as strong, and he didn't do a good enough job of answering the jabs that moderators and Hillary threw at him.

However, if you look at the polls on the major news websites (granted these aren't scientific) Obama clearly won the debate in the eyes of the American public. Why?
