I've been here a little more than a month. I came here against the better advice of my big brother, who I always saw as a drama queen always looking at the glass half empty. When he left to live in Italy, I decided to sign up for an account here and prove to my brother that DailyKos wasn't a bad place.

I came here with the belief that there was almost no one further to the left than me. My away message most nights is Paul Wellstone's line "I'm from the Democratic wing of the Democratic Party." In the wake of the flap over FISA and faith-based initiatives, I began to realize, actually, I may be a little further right than like everyone here.

Compared to most people at DailyKos...I'm a Republican.

We talk all the time about the problem with healthcare and the lack of health insurance and, yes, this is a major problem.

But, as I've learned today, the problem extends further to dental care. In 2006, the National Association of Dental Plans reported than only 57% of Americans had dental insurance. That means something like 135 million people are without any dental insurance.

Perhaps you can get by without dental insurance with good oral hygine, but even then, those small problems can come up that can cause chaos. I brush my teeth everyday, twice a day, and floss, (perhaps not well I gather) but this morning I woke up in excrutiating pain coming from a molar in my upper left jaw. The pain was so bad, I was tearing up and banging my head against the wall just to blunt the pain.

As I've mentioned, my brother is a political strategist. He promised to send me a message to the Obama community since he no longer posts at DKos, but it took him pretty much all weekend to do.

See, he has always been a huge admirer of Tim Russert, so he's a little bit down this weekend, but late tonight, I finally got his 10 county analysis that he promised.

So here it is, a simple message from my brother...win these 10 counties and Obama is the next President of the United States.
