After reading what Howard Dean said over the weekend, I am becoming increasingly concerned that the Clinton's campaign of negativity and divisiveness actually has a chance of paying off.
I was truly shocked when Dean characterized the race as "essentially pretty close to a tie." It is? Obama leads in every category, and barring a total meltdown on his part that will not change.
However, thanks to the media - and now, apparently, Howard Dean - the illusion that the race is neck and neck provides the Clintons with more time and opportunity to try to destroy Obama. And with it, to destroy the hopes of millions of Americans fed up with politics as usual.
