Wisconsin’s got local elections on Tuesday. MAGA election deniers will be on the ballot. And Trump is headed to Green Bay, Wisconsin on Tuesday night to try to help them win.
Can you chip in to help WisDems?
Wisconsin Democrats are organizing all over the state, in hundreds of local races. County Supervisors. Alders. Judges. Mayors. Offices that will affect Wisconsinites' day-to-day lives. And in some cases, offices that will play a role in determining who administers the election in November that will shape the fate of American democracy.
This is the third weekend in a row where our huge volunteer team has knocked on tens of thousands of doors. And we’ll keep ramping it up until the polls close at 8pm on Tuesday. Meanwhile, the WisDems team is working directly with candidates to help them execute serious campaign plans, and fight back against GOP attacks. We’re surging support into candidates who are facing a barrage of far-right lies. Your support now makes this possible.
When we work our hearts out in these local elections, we can tip the outcomes. In 2022, the last spring election without a statewide candidate, at least six local elections were tied. The winner was chosen by random chance. A single additional voter would have changed the outcome.
One extra volunteer shift can turn out the voters who will decide the outcome of those ultra-tight races.
When we work our hearts out in these local elections, win or lose, we also do something more: we reinvigorate our democracy and pave the way to victory in elections in the future. We inspire people to same-day register and get on the voting rolls. We improve our voter data, data that will then be used to focus messaging by the presidential, Senate, House, and state legislative nominees this fall. We build our organizing muscle, strength that will be essential for the rest of the year. We build our sense of community, the bedrock for a functioning democracy.
Help us do it. Help us sprint through the tape.

And don’t forget to spread the word—we need everyone to vote NO on the ballot initiatives seeking to undermine election administration.
Wisconsin holds at least six elections every two years. Two every spring, the primary and the general, and two every other fall. It can be exhausting. But it can also be exhilarating.
Every election is a celebration of the principle of self-government, and of the cherished idea of political equality—that every ballot counts equally.
From now through Tuesday, let’s honor that sacred idea—an idea under profound threat—through our work.
And let’s win some elections.
