So the American Family Association decided it wanted to sell a lighted cross for good god worshiping people to proudly display.

Now maybe they sell a nice cross with a small flood light to install in front of it... seems like a good idea.

Well the American Family Association took the idea to a new level.

Big Gains In New Hampshire From Top To Bottom

UNH/WMUR began releasing daily tracking numbers yesterday and in todays second release there were huge gains from the top of the ticket right on down.

The tracking is a rolling three day poll the first from Oct 24-26 and the second from Oct 25-27

President +25
In the first tracking poll Obama led McCain 55-39 and in todays release he has expanded the lead to 58-33.

Among Republicans in todays poll McCain only leads 74-16 while Obama leads Democrats 92-5.

First shipments of water and other supplies are not expected to be ready for distribution un til Monday evening, nearly 72 hours after Hurricane Ike made landfall.

There is no excuse for the delayed reaction... Trucks should have been loaded and within quick delivery distance while still safely away from the storm and able to move in once winds died down.

"We expect FEMA to deliver these supplies and we will hold them accountable," Mayor Bill White said.

Today New York holds it's primary and democrats in the 13th Congressional District have a choice to make between Steve Harrison and Mike McMahon.

Over the past two to three weeks I have gotten a mailer from McMahon practically every other day, the last was about garbage and going green, perhaps someone should have told him 10 mailers in two weeks makes a lot of garbage.

A editorial that appears in Tuesday's New Hampshire Union Leader that has already been published on it's website takes shots at Barack Obama's trip overseas and for his unwillingness to appear with John McCain at town hall meetings.

One problem here, while McCain likes to use this line and even features it in a new television ad in which he insinuates Barack Obama is unamerican, McCain allowed himself to be captured by the North Vietnamese and spent five years in a prison camp.

When they wanted to release him, he refused and continued to surrender himself to the enemy.
