He's serving a district that's lost about 40,000 manufacturing jobs in the past four years in textiles, furniture and fiber optics.

I know Kos knocks on me for counting the delegates this early, ;-) but I have fun with it and I'm not reading too much into it, and nor should you. These numbers are pretty darn raw.

Latest numbers include polls from Washington DC, South Carolina, the Ipsos-Reid national poll, and Florida. The addition of DC and Florida brings our total count up to 27.

We also have the addition of 139 confirmed SuperDelegates who are endorsing or supporting one candidate or another. Full breakouts. If you can add to this list, please let me know.

Veteran Dems: I need your help with SuperDelegates

Thank you to all of the folks from the previous thread who were able to provide info for counting 18 additional SuperDelegates, and removing one that I accidentally put in (Jim Jeffords, in spite of endorsing Dean, has no vote in the Democratic convention because he's still officially an independent.)

If you know which way any of the DNC Members on this list are leaning, or if you know that a local US Representative, Governor, or Senator has endorsed or is supporting a candidate, and I don't have them on here, please let me know.

Also: Is it true that state party leadership aren't allowed to endorse? If so, how far down the chain does this go? i.e. The State Chair can't endorse, but the corresponding secretary or member-at-large of the state committee can do whatever they want.

Another question: If the state leadership can't endorse, would it be fair to assume that they are at least leaning towards their state's own favorite son? i.e. should I just give Dean the VT leaders, Gep the MO leaders, etc, etc?

If I shouldn't be listing state leadership here, I will go through and remove them wherever appropriate.

No significant movement in the totals, but Dean shows a broader lead after IA, NH and also after Super Tuesday (on the strength of IA and MA numbers, respectively.)

Is posting broken? I keep getting "Post failed" messages, and the messages show that they are trying to post to the wrong messages.... often to completely different threads.

If anyone knows of a Web site or other source for the DNC Member list, I would really appreciate it if you could point me in the right direction.

I've searched google and the DNC site, as well as places like TheGreenPapers and the Political Graveyard. No luck.

I called the DNC, and they can mail it or fax it, but not E-mail it; and I'm hating the idea of typing in 240-340 names.

The DNC is made up of 440-451 individuals, 100 of them senators, 100 of them Reps, which isn't hard to find, but the other 240+ I have no clue about.

If you can help, thank you!
