Wikipedia - Help? - Wikipedia Entry, what kind of content?

I was doing research on the web and I fully admit my ignorance and lack of knowledge of Wikipedia. I mean, I've heard of Wikipedia and it's purpose, but today was my very first visit to the site. It's great, but I am wondering about adding info to the site, how do you do that?

I'm not sure if they add only elected officials or is it a "voted most popular" type of site regarding adding biographical and political people? Barry did a diary today on the possibility of Pence running for President in 2008 and there is a link to that site in his wikipedia entry. So if you know how this works, please help me out?

If anyone has any info would you mind putting it as a comment below?

UPDATE: If anyone has suggestions on what type of info to enter for Barry Welsh, I would appreciate it. I would like to know what types of content people would want to read relating to Barry. Read More

A few facts that I have learned and some of you may already know, I apologize in advance if you know all of this, but I am mad. There are military forces right now that are being used as guinea pigs. There are those that are using the equipment that the United States of America and all it's glory want destroyed while outfitting our troops with little more than street equipped hummers. We have police equipment that is better than what our most honored troops are using. We have cities and large suburban areas with more equipment to detect mines than our own beloved troops in Iraq. We have over 2500 dead and over 18,000 wounded and do you think that if one were responsible that they could sleep a good nights sleep??? How do they sleep at night?

I'm Sherri Welsh; I'm the Congressional Candidates Wife of Barry Welsh, Indiana's 6th District Congressional Candidate. Wow that's a mouthful!

I was looking at all the pictures of just some of the parades that we've been in from Barry's diary. Some occurred during the week and I couldn't be part of them and then a lot are from weekends that we've been participating in. The last two weekends I needed to take a break, I've been working the usual long hours at work, just like everyone else, and I couldn't go much more on 4 hours a night sleep.

What are we doing here? It's less than 5 months to Election Day and people are wondering what to believe. My perspective comes from the inside of a very active Congressional campaign and of being at the front watching people, hearing opinions and seeing the political climate in Indiana is truly a privilege. I've been introduced to an amazing variety of people and places.

There seems to be a very big question mark floating above people's heads like cartoon bubbles, wondering what to believe and hardly believing what they see and hear. My husband is Barry Welsh, and he is going to be a Congressman from Indiana in November. Barry has been working the campaign trail so hard these past few months, and I have helped when and where I can, but tonight it is not about politics. I never realized how strong and prepared for being a Congressman my husband is until tonight.

Today, one of our strong was strong no more. Today the balance between politics and ministry fought and the ministry won.

Today one of our most prized treasures was lost. Normagene Reeve died today. What an ugly sentence, "died today". As ugly as that statement is, it was true none-the-less. Our beloved and strong core strength of our personal congregation died.

So what?, you may ask, I say this was a woman with all 5 foot nothing of her had more balls than any man around except my husband. She endured the slow erosion of her beloved mate of 50+ years who was laid to rest less than a year ago, she worked tirelessly and is so mourned by the tiny congregation that loved her most.

Priorities...what are our priorities?

I watched a documentary on Terri Schivo and how each family has a priority, not that each side is any less than the other, but it brought home the fact that a politician's life should be driven by priority.

Proper representation requires the representative to represent the priorities of the majority; this is why it is so critical to vote, to participate in the democratic process.
We all have a responsibility to vote our conscience, pocket book, our inner conviction of what is right and what is wrong. The apathetic outlook on politics has some feeling helpless and overwhelmed, questioning, "What does it matter if I vote?" this is the exact reason that one should vote!! Because one vote, one person is the criteria of this democratic country, it's in part the reason that people sacrifice to give us the freedom of choice. The battlefields of this world have been littered and filled with human sacrifice of people protecting our rights and freedoms at the very least to disagree.

I know some of you know that my husband Barry Welsh is a Congressional Candidate running in Indiana's 6th District and I've been writing about my lessons learned in a political campaign.

We have been looking at how Barry's campaign has been and is going - planning speaking engagements, meet & greets, endorsements, fundraisers, volunteers and it's been really interesting. The Indiana's 6th District covers 19 counties; relatively the size of New Hampshire and each are unique and essential in their own right. The people of the district cover a wide spectrum of socio-economical demographics and it's the same expressions of worry, frustration and anger that I see that is bringing the district together.
