John Pavich is running for Congress in IL-11, a district just south of Chicago. John is a young, talented lawyer who also spent several years as a CIA counter terrorism officer.

His opponent is Jerry Weller, a Republican from the class of '94. Weller's "leadership" style has combined a startling lack of interest in legislation with a tendency to generate awkward controversies. The most recent example was his bizarre way of commemorating Veterans Day: with a PAC-only 3-day fundraiser in Vegas.
