It’s Thanksgiving Week Tuesday. Time to start watching the clock, and/or running around frantically!

Plus, he also famously shoved his way past then-Prime Minister Duško Marković during a NATO conference, to get to the front of a group photo. So that’s not great. He also insisted that Montenegrin people were very aggressive, and could start World War Three. Which is something he pretty much accuses everyone but himself of possibly doing.

Anyway, Montenegro is, like, three Prime Ministers on from Marković now. And I haven’t seen Trump shove any of them, lately.

But it’s never to late to start shoving!

Man, it’s gonna be crowded in Lebanon! The Israelis are already there. Plus, of course, the Lebanese. And not a few Palestinians! There’s hardly even room for us to invade.

But they have got a lovely coastline. Perhaps a few Trump Towers are in order?

We’ve not had great luck in occupying Lebanon, though. Trump might even remember that, the bombing of the Marine Barracks in Beirut having happened during the 1980s.

On the other hand, it may also be possible that his only mental impression of Lebanon is the “controversy” surrounding a selfie taken by Miss Israel at the Miss Universe pageant in early 2014 that apparently included Miss Lebanon, who came in for political criticism for it, though she insisted the photo was non-consensual.

You and I don’t care much about that, but it absolutely could still weigh heavily on Donald Trump’s mind, such as it is.

It’s Friday. Also… Gateway to Chaoooooooos!

Maybe it’s only fitting, as next week will bring chaos for a lot of people. Thanksgiving’s chaotic! I mean, just the pies alone!

I want to point out that the first spin of the wheel cam up with Kyrgyzstan, which actually came up already, on May 14th. That’s not remarkable by itself. But what was interesting about it was that the original spin of the wheel had brought up Italy, and that was the first day that I decided to start eliminating countries from the competition if they’d already come up. So that was the first time we ever spun twice, and Kyrgyzstan was what came up next. But I guess I forgot to eliminate it at that point, because here we are again. We’ve come full circle.

That’s probably a more interesting story than any I can come up with for you about why we might end up threatening to invade Bangladesh today.

Thinking an invasion would be easy? Bangladesh is the eighth-most populous country in the world (between Brazil and Russia), has the fourth-largest Muslim population in the worlds, and fields the third largest army in South Asia.

But you’d have to be able to read to know that.

And the Epstein Files bill has been signed into law—it’s most ineffective state of existence!

It’s Wednesday, and Eastern Orthodox Epstein Files vote day. What a weird time to be alive! Although Jeffrey Epstein is dead, and it’s still got to be pretty weird for him, too.

Greg Dworkin will be back, and I assume there will be questions about WTF just happened, and how. Plus, there’s a decent amount of mid-week chaos we’ll have to catch up on. From the courtrooms, to the Woeful Office, to dinner with Mister Bone Saw.

Hey, you know, back on October 3rd, the Country Picker Wheel landed on the United Arab Emirates, which is always gonna be awkward. Especially with their neighbor, MBS in town. But at the time, we commented that it was a good thing the wheel didn’t land on Qatar, since there was then a brand new “executive order” committing the US to responding militarily to any military attack on, well, Qatar.

Well, that would be awkward then, wouldn’t it?

I figured it was off the table, though, since Trump was still basking in the glow of having been gifted that $400 million private jumbo jet. But now enough time has passed for someone as petty and grasping as Trump to have moved on into “What have you done for me lately?” mode.

Oh, and one other possibility I hadn’t considered: Trump sends ICE and CBP to invade Qatar, and when Qatar complains, Trump points to his new “executive order” and says, “Now we’ve got to send troops in, to “defend” against the “invasion.”

It’s like being tricked into inviting a vampire into your house!

And boy, did we ever have some chaos! Trump and Murdery Traitor Greene were fighting, although she’s apparently trying to make up. We just don’t know if either of them have the people skills to make it happen.

Oh, and it was a big weekend for “Bubba,” whomever you think that may be. And a big weekend (but not quite as big) for Mark Epstein, on account of our learning that he exited.

I don’t know if Greg Dworkin is gonna want to go there, but there’s no avoiding another round of Epstein stories. That’s just gonna happen.

It’s Friday. Gateway to Chaos!

I have no idea what the Cursed Pedo Cheeto is doing this weekend. The usual public schedule that I lean on, provided by Roll Call, is full of garbage. There’s no schedule at all for Saturday, though for all I know, that could be 100% accurate. Trump may be planning to disappear into one of his golf clubs all day. Again.

It’s Wednesday. The U.S. House of Representatives—remember them?—is said to be convening in working session today for the first time since mid-September!

Adelita Grijalva is set to be sworn in! Many people don’t actually believe it, but there’s really no reason for Speaker Johnson to avoid it any longer. There are plenty of other things they can do to try to suppress whatever version of the Epstein Files they’ve got over at the DoJ.

Greg Dworkin is also set to be here. Maybe we should get an oath ready for him, too! It’s a step up from just a fanfare, right?

The Senate raced with uncharacteristic speed to hand over its now-ratified appropriations package to reopen the government as we approach 45 days of shutdown. Another normally sclerotic institution of government that occasionally rediscovers its vigor. When it wants to!

Which is to say that they would look, to him, exactly like he figures pyramid schemes would work. With him always winning.
