Donald Rumsfeld, our dear beloved ex-SecDef has written a magnificent op-ed in the Washington Post for this coming Sunday the 2nd of December. I'm not a fan of his, I'm sure you're not a fan of his, and this article reads like he's preaching to us his pawns in the chess game of international relations. I'm not saying I wholeheartedly disagree with his statements in this article with my title for this, I'm just saying I dislike this man wholeheartedly...and he deserves to be mocked at every turn. So, mainly this diary is to make you aware that Donny-Boy is still writing and living it up.

For his tremendous work to stop Global Warming and to educate the world on its terrible effects, former Vice President Al Gore was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in Oslo, Norway today, October 12th, 2007 at 11am local time, 5am eastern. He is sharing the award with the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.

From the announcement: "for their efforts to build up and disseminate greater knowledge about man-made climate change, and to lay the foundations for the measures that are needed to counteract such change"

Once again, I just wanted to post to everyone that there will be a huge anti-war rally tomorrow morning at 11am on the national mall. Between 3rd and 7th streets is where the rally will occur and then there will be a march on Capitol Hill.

I know that most people probably know about this, but I wanted to get the word out. The planners are estimating 300,000 to 500,000 in attendance. Add my beautiful smile to the FBI photos that will surely be taken that day.

Buses and vans are coming from all over the eastern seaboard. Unions are getting busses from all over, and there are caravans coming from as far away as Arkansas and Wisconsin. If you have the time, try to come. Who knows if it will make an impact with this administration, but it's worth getting your voice noted. It may embolden OUR Congress to stand up and actually do something.

When: Saturday, January 27th, 2007 at 11am
Where: Between 3rd and 7th Streets on the National Mall

Just thought I would bring to everyone's attention the fact that Al Gore is giving a major address on global warming and national security at 12:30PM at NYU Law School.

Joining him is former CIA Director R. James Woolsey and World Resources Institute Managing Director Paul Faeth.

They will be discussing "a new, bipartisan approach to solving the climate crisis and securing the nation's future."

The speech will be WEBCAST LIVE Monday September 18th, 12:30PM.
