I was driving home from work this morning when I saw this and snapped a photo with my CrackBerry:

Kinda sums it all up, doesn't it?

This photo was taken in the safe 1st Congressional District where McCain won't even be close. But when the supporters are throwing signs away a week from election day, that can't be a good sign for the McCain camp, eh?

From the Portland Press Herald:

Sen. Barack Obama won Maine's Democratic caucuses Sunday as massive numbers of voters braved inclement weather.

The Illinois Democrat beat Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., by a margin of 59 percent to 40 percent with 95 percent of precincts reporting, giving Obama 15 of Maine's 24 pledged delegates who will be bound to vote for him at the party's national convention.

More than 46,000 voters, including 4,000 who cast absentee ballots, participated in the caucuses, easily breaking the record of 17,000 from 2004.

Let's think about that...

In case you haven't heard (and why would you if you don't live in Maine) but Ron Paul is in the state today. His coming to Maine is a big deal because it's not like Florida is having a voting to-do tomorrow. Granted of all states, this is probably one he would do best in. (We did vault Perot to second place in 1992.) So why am I about to talk about a Republican on Daily Kos? Well, I got a phone call last week...
