for the 2nd day today, Howard Stern is defending Dean's speech on his radio show, and playing excerpts of it, over and over again.
Look, he says, I'm not supporting the guy for president, but all this media spin about his speech is BS. They just wanna get rid of him.
the friend who told me about this yesterday, called again just now, so I could listen to the show for a while through the phone line (there's no web stream). It was Stern and a comedian from the Comedy Central TV show, strongly defending the speech.
The NY Times this morning, without saying it directly but by using the placement of the sentence, implies that Stern's "re-mixing" the speech is part of the assault on Dean.
Don't believe the hype.
