Regarding the Superdelegates and their following the will of the voters - most Democrats believe that the way to determine the will of the voters is by the popular vote, not the most pledged delegates - and this includes Obama supporters.

I watched several of the Obama interviews tonight regarding his racist, anti-American mentor and pastor, Reverend Wright.

He must think the American people are complete idiots. He claims that he was not aware of any of these comments (except for "one" that he first learned of when he began running for President, which morphed into "one or two" later in the interview).

He attended this church on a regular basis for twenty years. He listened to Wright's sermons on tape when he was in college. And he was close friends with Wright. In fact, he cancelled out on Wright appearing at his Presidential announcement because he know how controversial he is.

The videos of Obama's America-hating Mentor and Pastor are not going away. Dan Abrams' show is just starting on MSNBC as I write this and he will be covering it tonight.

Obama and his campaign are whistling in the dark on this one. Obama sat in this man's church for 20 years while he denounced this nation ("God damn America"), blamed America for 9/11 - ("Chickens coming home to roost"), etc. etc. etc. etc.

Put this guy together with Michelle Obama's wacky comments ("I've never been proud of America...") and it paints a picture.

I realize this is no longer a reality based community. However, the fact is that Hillary's campaign did NOT give the ol' wink-wink to the Canadian government about NAFTA. Only the Obama campaign did that (and then tried to cover it up).

One may wonder - how is it that Hillary won the Texas primary by around 4 points, yet Obama is winning the caucus by double digits (around 12 points) - when they were both held the very same day, in the very same state, amongst the same voting population?

This excellent piece by Ann Althouse, whose son was on the scene, gives a great deal of insight into what really can happen at these caucuses.

As most of you know (and many of you find distasteful, but that's your problem) I am a strong and committed support of Hillary Clinton's candidacy for President. I've been observing events for the last few days and have come to this conclusion - unless she losed both Texas and Ohio on Tuesday, there is no way in the world that she will drop out of the race following these contests. And I personally don't think she is going to lose Ohio.

My analysis is simple. She has the money and support to go on. She deeply and firmly believes that she is far more qualified to be President than Obama and that the nation would be better served if she wins. And you never know what's going to happen in politics.

This is for those Hillary supporters who are who are just appalled at the slander that's been tossed at Bill and Hillary Clinton over race during this campaign. And for those who support Obama and are going to post a bunch of nasty comment here - all I ask is that you read the entire piece before you do so.

Put aside everything else - does it make any sense that the Clintons would "play the race card" if they wanted to win? Could there be anything stupider one would do in a Democratic nomination contest? Think about that for five seconds, and then read the piece

Just a quick diary to inform any Hillary supporters who still get onto this site (I know there are a few) that Hillary is leading in Ohio (2 brand new polls have her leading by 8 and 11 points), Texas (holding onto a slim lead according to most recent polls, AND Rhode Island - recent polls have her with a 10 to 15 point lead, depending on the poll.

I'm a bit pressed for time, so I'm not going to do a bunch of links - all recent polling can be found at pollster.com or realclearpolitics.com.
