Bernie Sanders supporters were very excited to hear that an outlier Reuuters/Ipsos poll has Bernie Sanders ahead of Clinton by 6%.

I found the result weird, because, well, everyone except for Sanders supporters found I weird, and because Nate Silver does not like Reuters/Ipsos. See this

A new Robert Williams University poll has found that Clinton leads Sanders by 21%,and that was before Nevada. FEB. 11-16. Link

So there you have it. If one poll should be given preference over the average of all polls, then Clinton is kicking Sanders' butt nationally.

In the Garden State, Hillary Clinton crushes Bernie Sanders by a 23% margin, according to a new Rutgers University poll (landlines and cell phones). Link

Hispanics in the state are the largest minority at 18%. African Americans are 9%. Thus, in a state with less minority inhabitants than Nevada, Clinton still manages to kick butt.

The most impressive fact in this poll us in my view, that Clinton holds this big lead despite the date it was conducted: February 6-14, right after the New Hampshire primaries won handily by Sanders.

Thus, this comfortable lead does not even take into account any momentum Hillary may have received from winning Nevada.

Bernie Sanders is in big trouble.

Sanders supporters were very excited following a widely criticized CNN entrance poll showing Sanders ahead of Clinton among Latinos in Nevada. Several experts criticized the poll.

Now a new YouGov in Texas finds Latinos favoring Clinton over Sanders by 60% vs. 37%.

Although Texas is not Nevada, it is doubtful that Nevada Latinos are somehow a different breed of genetically or behaviorally unique Hispanics who happen to prefer Sanders. www.texastribune.org/…

Latinos are key to Clinton's 10% overall lead in this YouGov poll. So are African Americans.

The poll was conducted Feb. 12-19, before the Nevada caucuses.

Bad news for Bernie Sanders in Michigan for four reasons,

1) Michigan has a proportion of white peoole/total population that is even higher than Nevada's, yet Sanders is struggling anyway.

2) This poll was conducted largely before the Nevada caucus results were definitive ( Feb. 19-20).

3) The Michigan primaries are just 15 days away.

4) By the time Michigan is up, Clinton will have swept the floor with Sanders on Super Tuesday.

Thus, any momentum created by Nevada and Super Tuesday in favor of Clinton is not even reflected in this poll, yet she leads by a comfortable margin.

The New York Times' politics blog led by Nate Cohn casts doubt on an entrance poll showing Sanders ahead of Clinton in the Latino vote in Nevada, and concludes Clinton Won that group.

Clinton supporters should never concede the point to Sanders won Hispanics in NV, because the doubt by experts is very high regarding the entrance poll in question. Sanders supporters are encouraged to cite the doubts expressed by experts regarding their assertion that Sanders won the Hispanic vote in Nevada. Thanks.

As you may have noticed, Bernie Sanders supporters love right wing newspapers and right wing sources.

One such example was the excitement generated here by a polling firm (Target Point) whose CEO (Alexander P. Gage) is a Bush/Cheney loving Reaganite Conservative right wing nut:

TPC provided advanced voter targeting for Bush-Cheney '04, which fueled superior direct voter contact programs in 18 swing states. "Gage began his professional career in 1974 as an analyst at Market Opinion Research (MOR) in the political research group. MOR provided research service to hundreds of republican candidates, officeholders and party organizations from 1972 to 1988. MOR was the lead research firm for President Gerald Ford ('76) and Vice President George H.W. Bush('88) and one of the primary research providers to President Ronald Reagan ('80 and '84).

The highly recommended diary on this poll made no mention of the Republicanism of either the pollster or the kooky right wing nut newspaper that commissioned the survey (Washington Free Beacon). I saved it as pdf, so don't try to edit it after the fact.

They simply expect that readers will think these are unbiased, reputable entities.

Republicans are rooting for Bernie Sanders as reported in the news. Therefore any poll conducted by a Republican must be taken with a huge grain of salt, as Bernie supporters hopefully learned the hard way now that Clinton Won Nevada by 6%.

If you are quoting a wing nut, call him a wing nut.

I hear a lot of people,especially Clinton supporters, make fun of and belittle the Huffington Post analyst on the grounds that he knows not what he talks about.

But Goodman nailed the results when,a month ago,he wrote an article titled " Bernie Sanders Will Win Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada and South Carolina. Here's Why."

Please focus on the bold state.

Whether it is the New York Post, Republican pollsters, Morning Joe, etc., the strange alliance between "socialists" and right-wing nuts is real and mutual.

Stop it or continue to be exposed as a right-wing misinformation enablers.

In a new poll that the media will largely dismiss because it does not fit it's favorite narrative, Hillary Clinton leads Sanders 53-39% nationwide, up. from a 12% lead in late January.

Several economists, some of whom worked in the Obama White House and some who worked for Bill Clinton, just posted an argument against the validity of Bernie Sanders' claims regarding the nature of his single payer and tax proposals.

The letter is not likely to help Sanders as the Nevada and South Carolina contests approach.

Sanders has been criticized for promising things he can't deliver and exaggerating the savings and benefits in his plans.
