This is Theresa's story. Before you finish, you will read a very heartwarming story and you will see a few (or maybe more) flaws in the way our healthcare system is run today in this country and a few not so minor flaws in how corporations and businesses destroy people through their lack of human compassion.

Theresa is a drop-dead gorgeous, 41 year old who lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with her wonderful husband, Floyd and their two children a boy 12 and a girl 14. They have, for several years, lived in a nice, though not extravagant, middle class neighborhood where they worked, paid their bills and thought they'd live happily ever after. But, you will soon see that was not to be.

It's political season and witches and goblins are running around everywhere masquerading as something or someone they aren't. Some are running personal attack ads on TV under the guise of taking out the 'godless'. Those are going to lose in my opinion as they are truly losers. I have already done my part to help that event occur. On second thought, some of those parading around are more like devils than witches.

The Mallard Creek Barbeque was held in Charlotte last Thursday. This is an event every year, but on election years it is a 'do not miss' event. Both Harry Taylor and Larry Kissell were there as were many other political candidates.

Do men realize that with her wink and flirt Sarah Palin is insulting them and all men of America? I ask that question because I thought it was obvious until last night I was talking with my husband about it and although he can't stand Palin, he didn't 'realize it. I and most women see her clearly. Once I explained it to him, he agreed completely. Remember during the Vice Presidential debate, CNN (if you watched that channel) had a 'tracker' indicating what men and women were thinking about responses at all times. Well when 'cutesy' Sarah Palin would start her 'winking and flirting' the women's line would drop like a rock. That's because women appear to be more aware of personal insults of that form than men are. Women become irate when men look at them and say 'honey' in a certain manner as if that is enough to whip her into action. Now men are experiencing the same insult.

Howard Dean made a fast tour of North Carolina last week. I recorded it and have it on YouTube. I will post the entire video speech here in two parts. It was really a very good speech. US 9th District Congressional Candidate Harry Taylor was at the speech as was Charlotte Mayor Pro Tem Susan Burgess. There were quite a few Hillary supporters who were protesting at the speech as you will see in the video.

Remember the All-American hero who stood up to George Bush when he appeared in person in Charlotte, North Carolina? Remember how Bush was so taken back by Harry Taylor's respectful, well-thought-out and on-point approach? Well, Harry is now running for US Congress in the 9th US District in North Carolina and he is taking on Sue Myrick. Sue Myrick has had her turn and she has done virtually nothing, just like Bush. She will be just as taken back by Harry Taylor as Bush was.

Harry Taylor's a winner! Everyone who knows Harry know that. Harry is running against Sue Myrick in the 9th District. Recently the Young Democrats of Mecklenburg County awarded Harry their highest award at their annual awards meeting.

Nov. 29, 2006 was a sad day. Larry Kissell conceded defeat to
Robin Hayes that day. It was the closest race in the nation with the eventual count being a difference of only 329 votes. As someone who lived in that area of North Carolina (US 8th District), I can tell you that many voters weren’t happy with the outcome and there were a few who wondered if in fact the end result was correct. But as we voters have learned in elections since 2000, we ‘grin and bear it’.

Once the primaries for certain states are over, where are the candidates? Remember how Bush courted every 'little' voter until he was (never say won) in office? Then, Katrina hit and where was George. Are we now seeing a repeat of George with Obama and McCain skipping out on the voters once the votes are cast?

I have tracked John Edwards for over a year now filming his events and putting them on multiple video sites. This week was different. He has a new breath of fresh air and new momentum. I haven't seen that sort of 'vigor' in a while. I think John Edwards is bound to come in very high in South Carolina. I will hold my predictions of which place as I don't think I need to say that, but I do have my own opinion.
