  •  The Warren campaign has not (16+ / 0-)

defined him.  I keep repeating myself on this.  But, they need to defien Scott Brown as the republican that will vote the party line any time it matters.  He'll do what McConnel tells him every time.  MA Dems and Indies need to hear that repeatedly if she is to win.  If they successfully define him as a typical republican, which he is, those Obama/Brown voters will start to disappear in the Commonwealth.  I grew up in MA and in Southern NH now.  I don't feel they are doing that.  Browns pick-up truck routine is working on many indies that I know in Ma.  Her pro-Warren ads are pretty good but they are not reminding MA voters of Browns record, and that fact that his victory would like deliver the Senate to Republicans.

He is getting defined......but I agree, she needs to do more.

    •  absolutely (9+ / 0-)

Elizabeth just needs to remind voters that he's a Republican and aligns with Mitch McConnell on the things that matter most (and remind women that Brown voted against Kagen). She doesn't have to go "negative" just needs to be less soft.  I live in Mass. and I truly believe that party still matters. If Obama is ahead by 16 points here, there's no reason she can't be at LEAST 10 points up over the empty barncoat and his stupid truck.

    •  This alone won't do it (0+ / 0-)

The recent ads are better, but she really hasn't sold herself well as someone who will represent the interest of Massachusetts citizens (and not just "the middle class").  She's a non-MA native running against Wall Street, and that alone won't resonate.

"Nonsense!" said Alice, very loudly and decidedly, and the Queen was silent.
