    Big hugs your way!

    •  Oddly, it's not all that painful (2+ / 0-)

Mostly like having a "charley-horse." It just feels profoundly weak, and makes walking very awkward, and, if I do too much, it will lead to the bones in my foot dislocating themselves, resulting in need for a much more serious repair that will leave the foot messed up permanently. So, I just need to try not to use it. But, because of my shoulder, I can't use crutches without excruciating pain, leaving me with just sitting around being bored to death.

On the plus side, I've become bored enough to start a project: Green Planet Heroes. A minimal UI will launch in a few weeks. I've had some really helpful usability feedback from bunches of people. If you have thoughts, let me know!

we can't do an aerobic exercise.

        Here's my daily routine.

1 Banana for potasium in the AM
Low carb bean dish* or chicken
1 Avacado w/T Olive Oil, salt, garlic powder for oil & Vit E

Gallon of water a day as herb teas if you prefer*

All the fat free veggies you can eat.

Lemon juice is a great salt replacement, as is lime juice.

I pressure cook chick peas and make my own hummus which I eat with celery, carrot sticks, and/or cucumber

        Calcium:

I make yogurt cheese w/garlic and olive oil.  Eat like hummus above.

CARBS - best eaten before 3 PM

Jack Sprat bread, no more than two slices a day
pasta, no more than 1/4 cup cooked a day

*Often we mistake hunger for thirst.  8 cups of water a day is healthy and can stave off hunger.

It takes some time for the body to adjust.  I'm not thin, but I only weigh 10 pounds more than I did in high school when I was.

I've been exercise constrained for a few years, but am gradually improving.

I offer this with love and compassion, RS

Off to check out your Green Planet Heroes linky

It's difficult to be happy knowing so many suffer. We must unite.

I'm a vegetarian, and generally drink plenty of liquid. There's a metabolic issue happening, for which I already have an appointment scheduled. It's so incredibly frustrating - I've worked so hard all my life to avoid the family weight curse, and now I'm stuck. I take in 1000 to 1300 calories a day, the largest portion provided kefir and light soy milk, but apparently I'm very efficient with those calories. :-)
