    really sink in.  And the constant pressure on the police to make stops -- that's something I wasn't aware of.

      discuss those internal pressures - job performance reviews, promotion (or lack of) was enlightening for me.

      What was frightening was the threat of getting very dangerous assignments if they don't comply - being sent out alone...
