  •  The half life of DU bombs use by many (1+ / 0-)

Western countries is 4.6 Billion years. Radiation for that period of years can cause serious heath issues and death. We have already seen how babies with serious deformities have increased ten fold in the area where this nuclear waste was dumped on the Iraqi people.

According to international law, as I understand, DU coated munitions are illegal. Are they really illegal? Should they be? Should all countries who have manufactured and used these deadly weapons be tried in the International Court of Justice?

Are these bombs that negatively impact the environment for billions of years worse than Chemical Weapons.

War is costly. Peace is priceless!

    •  You understand incorrectly. DU is legal. (0+ / 0-)

It is not included on any list of banned weapons, and does not meet the definition of a chemical weapon provided in the Chemical Weapons Convention of 1993.
