Chris Murphy (D-CT) for them to not televise the race. I consider myself to be a "NASCAR Progressive." I am a big fan of the sport of auto racing, but, at the same time, I am a progressive political blogger. While many NASCAR fans are politically conservative, I'm not. Let's face reality here: If Planned Parenthood sponsored a NASCAR race or team, FOX News, Redstate, Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, and all of the other right-wing bozos out there would throw a big fit over that, and we'd never hear the end of it from them. However, during the two most recent debates, Congressman Ryan and Governor Romney both talked about bipartisanship and Congressman Ryan claimed that President Obama should have been able to do more because there was a Democratic majority in the House and Senate when he took office. These attacks went unanswered. President Obama needs to challenge these attacks in the next debate by pointing out Republican obstruction through their record use of the filibuster in the Senate.
