running down her face and trying to recall traumatic events as a child of 15.   The majority of Americans were against this nominee.   While Dr. Ford told her story, millions of men and women who had been sexually assaulted spoke out and yet after all of  those empathetic, and hurt folks rallied behind her because of  the power in the senate and they knew of a  few who are suppose to represent the people would  bow to Trump.</p> <p>Dr. Ford was ridiculed by people in power.  Dr. Ford was not taken seriously, even by the FBI at Trump’s direction to not look too deep.  This all played out with people in pain from reliving their own personal trauma.</p> <p class="is-empty-p"></p> <p>This is more than a supreme court justice being confirmed.  This is about control.   This is about your</p> <p>bodies, your personal choices, people of color, equal rights, pre exisiting conditions, torture and people who loved the days before Roe v Wade.  We are on the tipping edge of  no Rainbow,  Segregation now, Segregation forever.   We are in the days of I love Lucy.  We are in the days of  YOU DO NOT MATTER.</p> <p>   You can pick out some pearls, some nice  high heels, head to the kitchen, or the closet or back of the bus, or Vote and get others to vote.    Is this hyperbole?  I don’t know.   Not in this day and time.  OR YOU CAN get out there and Get out the Vote to not just overturn the house but take the Senate.   If our votes are compromised, then I don’t know what to tell you.  This country cannot handle their idea of their kind of winning.   We as a country cannot move backwards.   We cannot be divided much longer either.   The country will not hold together.  We cannot handle 2 or 4 more years of this craziness.  That is just a fact.</p> <p>When the leader of the free world  mocks victims, bullies people, lies and has been nothing but an embarrassment , then we are in deep trouble.   </p> <p class="is-empty-p"></p> <p>The truth is<strong> YOU </strong>do not matter right now.  This is what this vote said today by the cowards sitting in the senate voting yes to Brett Kavanaugh.  You can matter though.   You can go vote straight Dem down the line.  You can pull yourself up and GOTV.</p> <p>All of the home sitters who did not vote or voted 3rd party in 2016.  You  helped Make America 1955 again .  I don’t want to hear your whining.  I do want you to vote in the midterms.</p> <p>My computer is broken and I used my daughter’s computer to write this post  so if I do not answer you right away.  Bear with me, I am not ignoring you or that your comment is not  important, it’s just I am sharing a computer.</p> <p>I am an abuse survivor.  I lived through the sixties.  I know what it looks like.  It is not pretty but I was younger then and I never thought we would have to fight the same battles for our children and grandchildren all over again.     </p> <p>Remember Kavanaugh said to democrats, “ What goes around, comes around”… I think we need to find out just what that meant.  We need to take control of our representation.  This is We the People not  just We the Republicans, or Conservatives.   This is We the People.    We have no real representation at this point in all three branches of government.</p> <p>As it stands today..Women are this:  Unfortunately some women like it this way.  Those IMO are women who stand behind
