I get my BP meds in the mail from Express Script, they are sent in a envelope, I have no idea if that will be considered a “package”. My guess is it would not. USPS is also going to continue to to close branch offices. Say goodbye to 3 to 4 day delivery's, it will now be more like 6 to 7 days. I am not an expert on what is happening with USPS. From what little I know Congress is trying to force them to shut down, as a way to support things like UPS and Fed Ex. The critters voted to force USPS to fund retirements for people not even born yet. The Post Office was one of the first things Ben Franklin wanted after Independence. Ben had the right idea, they should not be set up to make a profit like the British Post, just charge enough to cover their cost. Ben’s thinking was a Post that worked for profit was a tax, and he had just helped end the stamp tax. The USPS was doing ok, but not great before Congress messed with them, emails have hurt them a lot. What is going to hurt all of use is when there is NO USPS. Want to send a letter to Alaska from Ohio, no worries Fed Ex will do it for $5. If You don’t think billing centers are going to move as far away from CONUS as possible, like Guam, you have not been paying attention for the last 30 years. I would bet the shipping companies would pay for the moves. Okay you say to heck with the Post Office, I do all my stuff on line. I use a ATM to get cash, that is probably no different then using a credit card, but I still try to not use a credit card, it seems like a week does not go by without news of a major hack.
