One such example was the <a href="http://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/12/1484021/-Nevada-Poll-45-45-Tie-The-Bernie-Bounce-Is-Here" target="_blank">excitement generated here</a> by a polling firm (Target Point) whose CEO (Alexander P. Gage) is a Bush/Cheney loving Reaganite Conservative right wing nut: <blockquote> " According to his TPC <a href="http://targetpointconsulting.com/Principals/default.aspx">profile</a>, Gage founded TargetPoint Consulting, Inc. in 2003 and created <a href="http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php/Political_microtargeting">political microtargeting</a>, "which ushered in a new era in consumer/voter targeting. "Gage began his professional career in 1974 as an analyst at Market Opinion Research (MOR) in the political research group. Bush</a>('88) and one of the primary research providers to President <a href="http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php/Ronald_Reagan">Ronald Reagan</a> ('80 and '84). </blockquote> The highly recommended diary on this poll made no mention of the Republicanism of either the pollster or the kooky right wing nut newspaper that commissioned the survey (Washington Free Beacon). I saved it as pdf, so don't try to edit it after the fact. They simply expect that readers will think these are unbiased, reputable entities. Republicans are rooting for Bernie Sanders as reported in the news. Therefore any poll conducted by a Republican must be taken with a huge grain of salt, as Bernie supporters hopefully learned the hard way now that Clinton Won Nevada by 6%. However, it is worth noting that the pollster (TargetPoint) has Michael Meyers as President. Woh is Michael Meyers?
