He said he came from Honduras in search of a better life for her.</div> <div></div> <div>When officials separated them, the little girl tried to comfort her father by telling him she wouldn't be mad at him. But she also said something else that made him tear up in front of the cameras.</div> <div></div> <div><em>"Dad, you're going to jail and I'm going I don't know where," </em>he said, quoting his daughter.</div> </blockquote> <p>This is a monsterous act, committed by man with no morals, no compassion, and a cruel streak 10 miles wide. Having children myself, young ones, the idea of them being away from me, scared, unprotected and without any understanding of what is ahead is as emotionally retching as a kidnapping must be.</p> <p>Here’s an idea, Democratic congress people:</p> <p><strong>USE THESE STORIES IN COMMERCIALS THAT RUN NOW, NOT FOUR MONTHS FROM NOW!! NOW IS THE TIME TO EMBED THIS IN THE PSYCHE OF THOSE WHO CAN BE PERSUADED AND CHANGE.</strong></p> <p>At the end, you can say, <em>“While we may disagree on whether these people have the right to be here, there is no excuse for this kind of cruelty on human beings we are not at war with. Imagine if these were your children. Support Democrats and we will make this right.”</em></p> <p>The money is available in the DNC’s coffers. It really comes down to anyone on our side of the isle having some small element of guts. I don’t see it with Chuck Schumer. He’s one of the reasons nothing sticks on our side. He’s too careful and too worried about what others think.
