Ok I can speak with some clarity on this matter.  See I have been in the home of several Oak Ridge Boys homes.  I personally know VERY WELL a former Oak Ridge Boy.  I just spoke to him on the phone last night but thank God I did not know this deal about his former buddies that he worked with    I know there are Kossacks on here who know even better the Oak Ridge Boys than me and have worked with them.  

Wanna bet what this was IMO, about the dumbest move in Popularity Celebrity History?   The Oak Ridge Boys are pretty nice people.  They are cordial.
They help Feed the Children ..Rachel Maddow likes them.  BUT when you accept to play for private donors of people like Romney/Ryan and God knows who those jet setter donors are in a special venue...YOU will lose
some of your listening audience.  Lines have been drawn in the sand and I just said this to the wife of one of the Oak's wife.  

 I am in shock and disbelief that the one band picked for the private donors would be THE OAK RIDGE BOYS.  It would be different if it was  some folks we did not know.  It would be different if this had been a band like the Gatlins or the Statlers but the Oak Ridge Boys?

Why didn't they get Nuget or Hank JR to play?  Oh the hypocrisy factor I guess was not there.   This is evildoer enabling to me !  NO.  This is palling around with terrorists !!!!!!!

  I am so disappointed that this bunch of talented people have agreed to entertain the most lying, two faced, disrespectful, bigoted and unpatriotic haters of the world.   Hell NO I won't forget.  You just got chicked by me.  
Patriotism?  Really?   I don't think so.  I won't listen to another Oak Ridge Boys Song and I am glad the former Oak Ridge Boy left them years  ago.  Oh and by the way, my husband worked with the same boss they had.

The Oak Ridge Boys just fell off the cliff with  Willard and possibly lost many of their fans who are not ALL REPUBLICANS.  Wanna hear what really made me mad,,on her facebook page, another Oak wife had been looking at a dress they were purchasing for the Romney inauguration .  Was this assuming the sale or saying their guy is going to win and fix is going down !  I am furious....

I am lucky.. I can say this to them to their face.  If I were speaking to them !!!!!!!!!  That is over.  My Gosh I have cut off my family members who are just talking about  not voting Obama.  To publicly in a private sort of way.. entertain this scum is beyond the pale.

When we draw lines.. We draw them deep and wide and they normally last a lifetime.  My lines moreso than my husband's lines.  I am no flip flopper.  My yea's are yea and my nay's are nay and there is no changing mind when it comes to me.
