Poor Jeb.  The guy who once spoke Spanish on the campaign trail is now decrying "multiculturalism" as something that "retards" people's ability to... look and sound Anglo, I guess.  Once he sold himself as The Great Moderate Hope; now, he's lost his cool and stupidly joining the rest of the GOP Clown Car in trying to out-Trump Trump when it comes to hating on the non-Anglos in America.

Will this help him at all in the primary? Not really. He's already in prime position to benefit once Trump finally bails.  (And I think that might happen soon;  the Donald's not been looking all that healthy lately.) He's still got bags of money and deep-pocketed friends, so he can pull a Kerry and stay in while his rivals concentrate on taking each other out, then step in and sweep up the released supporters a la Kerry in 2004. (And then lose in the general, also like Kerry in 2004.)

I repeat, he's still almost certainly going to be Last Man Standing when.Trump blows up.  But by putting on a big show of putting some hurried distance between himself and a culture he once embraced, he's coming close to blowing his spot in the catbird seat.
