Oh yes, the Clinton campaign has done it again.
They have managed, through their network of friends, to generate headlines in the MSM which feature their emotional accusation that Bernie Sanders demonstrated his sexist feelings toward women when he took issue with Hillary’s persistent interruptions during their debate in Flint, Michigan on Sunday night.
When these kinds of fallacious headlines go unchallenged in the hours/days that follow a debate, they are very likely to achieve their intended effect, giving those who did not watch the debate a negative impression of the individual who is being accused with emotion.
The sexism charge that is being leveled at Bernie Sanders is an undisguisable act of character assassination that can definitely do serious damage to your campaign if/when it is not effectively answered.
The best way to respond to such a charge is to present the actual reality of what happened in front of the eyes of all those Democrats who did not watch the debate, so they can see for themselves:
If he has not done so already, I would advise Tad Divine to put together a commercial right now (and run it repeatedly throughout the day in Michigan) which features the actual exchange that took place, supplemented by some editorial comment delivered by a woman [Susan Sarandon?] which calmly ridicules the claim, suggesting that the person who behaved very poorly during this exchange was not Bernie Sanders.
Let us hope that an effective response is being executed as I submit this diary...
