I’m not out to shaft anyone. I’m asking a serious question. Because I don’t think it means the same thing it used to. Hell, I’m fairly certain it means different things to different demographics, ethnicity, generations, and regions. So what is “electable” exactly? Is it a catch all term like the way Certain sections of the electorate use the word ”freedom”?

I want to point out that an African American man was not “electable” 7 years ago to conventional wisdom. We like to think that Trump is not electable either. Nor is Cruz, Rubio, or Kasich according to our own wisdom. 2010 We should have held on to more seats and even gained some. And how did that one work out?

It is my humble opinion, and I say this because I am in no way a politician or political scientist, that the last two presidential elections have been determined by the honesty and integrity of the man who won those elections. There was an honesty and grit to his character as a human being. This is a man who did not and will not take short cuts. He did what he thought was the right thing to do as he saw it for the benefit of the entire nation and all of it’s citizens. Integrity. Perseverance. Leadership.

I do not want or need scandal, stupidity, or marketing strategy.  I don’t want or need smears, hack jobs, or psuedo journalists. I’m not about whose turn it is. I am about picking the best person to do the job. Who do you trust to do the right thing for the right reasons? Bringing prosperity to all Americans, not just a select few. Who do you trust to be honest with you and your family. Especially when it’s about a mistake. That is the person I want.

I would like feed back. Not shouting. I want reasoned discourse and no pie fights. I think that all of you are adults, or near enough to it so that you should be able to discuss things passionately and not piss all over each others feelings and shoes. So thanks in advance and happy discussing.
