Sorry, but if you had Speaker of the House Paul Ryan in your Republican presidential nominee bracket, you’re out of luck. On Tuesday afternoon, Ryan released a statement and told reporters:
Let me be clear: I do not want, nor will I accept the Republican nomination. [...]
I simply believe that if you want to be the nominee – to be the president – you should actually run for it. I chose not to. Therefore, I should not be considered. Period.
Okay, seems clear enough. So, does Ryan support whoever comes into the GOP convention as the frontrunner?
I will leave it up to the delegates to decide that.
