My name is Stephen Tryon and I am running against Chaffetz to be the US Representative for southeastern Utah, from Four Corners to Salt Lake City.  Its an honor for me to contribute to First People Power! 

My father was a soldier, and we moved a lot growing up.  We settled in Las Cruces, NM when I was 10.  I have admired and respected Native American culture my entire life.  After graduating from Mayfield High School in Las Cruces, I became a soldier myself.  I retired to Salt Lake City in 2004, and worked as a senior internet executive with Overstock.com until resigning to run for Congress in 2014.  I am currently running for Congress a second time.

Since coming to Utah, I have fallen in love with the beauty and power of this land.  It would be a privilege to work with Native Americans to ensure the First People prosper and participate in the American Dream.
