Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway has made a rare public appearance—so let's see if we can get a comment from her on her nominee's unhinged claims that Americans are plotting to commit voter fraud in droves, part of a nefarious plot to keep him out of the White House.
"No, I do not believe that," she told MSNBC's Stephanie Ruhle on "MSNBC Live" when asked if she believed there would be widespread voter fraud. "So absent overwhelming evidence that there is, it would not be for me to say that there is."
It seems Conway has plans to continue her career even after her current boss finishes his epic act of self-destruction this November. Good for her?
But Conway also broke a second Trump campaign taboo yesterday, telling CNN's Anderson Cooper that the reason Hillary Clinton is winning is because she has more money than Donald Trump.
"She has so many advantages," she said. "She has endless money, she has a lot of the media. She has a very popular president and first lady out there campaigning for her."
What's that? But I thought Donald Trump was worth at least 10 billiondy dollars? Surely he could devote even a tiny sliver of those billiondies to overcoming a nobody like Hillary Clinton. But no, says Conway: Clinton is winning because she has more money, and “a lot” of media, and powerful friends who don't hate her.
That is formidable.
