Hillary Clinton's Staffers are keeping up the fight.
Former Clinton deputy national press secretary Jesse Ferguson, senior adviser Leslie Dach and communications department chief of staff Lori Lodes are all consulting for Protect Our Care, the coalition fighting Trump and congressional Republicans over the future of the Affordable Care Act.
Ferguson cited Clinton's oft-repeated Methodist creed -- "do all the good you can, for all the people you can, in all the ways you can, as long as ever you can."
"It's one that many of us took to heart," he said. "There's no better example for the idea that you get knocked down, you have to pick yourself back up. She taught us that and, for a lot of the staff, they're going to go and live that idea."
Just maybe Clinton isn’t the monster the media and some on the left make her out to be.
Maybe she’s a politician just like Sanders. Flawed and imperfect like all of us. Maybe she is quietly working behind the scenes with the Resistance.
She made an impression on her staffers and they are out there fighting back.
This is a glimpse behind the curtain without the media and the far left cartoon characterization of the Clinton Campaign.
A list of some of the Organizations Clinton’s Staffers are working with or have created:
1. Run for Something “Clinton's finance team helped Litman figure out how to raise money. Many of its 1,000 operatives who have volunteered to help future candidates are Clinton alumni.”
2. Protect our Care
3. Priorities USA
4. United We Dream
“Pitman met her co-founder, Ross Morales Rocketto, through his wife, former Clinton digital staffer Jess Morales Rocketto -- who is now organizing airport protests and consulting for United We Dream and the National Domestic Workers Alliance in fighting Trump's executive order banning immigration from seven majority Muslim countries.”
5. National Domestic Workers Alliance
6. Sen. Kamala Harris
7. Rep. Pramila Jayapal
8. Organizing For Action
“Clinton campaign rapid response team veteran Jesse Lehrich is leading communications for Organizing for Action”
9. TownHallProject.com
”Jimmy Dahman, a Clinton field organizer in Iowa and then Ohio, has launched TownHallProject.com -- where he and a team of volunteers have made a point of tracking every town hall, coffee meeting or other opportunity for constituents to reach their congressional delegation.”
10. Protect OUR Care
If your just another corrupt politician who doesn’t care about the people would your staffers really be out there standing up and fighting back for the benefit of all of us?
Look at what has sprouted form the Clinton Campaign. These are good people who were trying to warn us of the danger we would be facing form a Trump Presidency. Imagine what Trump’s Ex-staffers would be up to.
"There are days that you wake up and can't believe this is actually going on," said one former aide.
The urge to say "I told you so" remains strong for most Clinton's former aides. They view the media as complicit in Trump's rise, arguing reporters did not delve deep enough into his ties to Putin at the time and gave too much play to the stream of leaked emails that US officials say were hacked by Russian operatives.
"It feels like you screamed at the top of your lungs about a hurricane that was coming," said Jesse Ferguson, a former campaign aide, "but no one heard you until it was too late."
