How I miss the Obamas.  I am comparing the traditional White House Easter Egg event that Trump is officiating over today to last year.  Looking back at the informal, happy event where the Obamas read a book to the kids with a lot of miming responses and laughter, I see them at their best.  

Of course, this was their eighth event and Trump’s first.  But the genuine joy of being with kids shapes how they come across.  And Michelle introduced a fun run as a way to continue her theme of healthy living.

Melania has avoided the White House and only slowly chosen staff.  Those omissions are evident in the reports of a diminished gatherng.  

I could say more, but I think the pictures speak to how I feel.  How hard to see the change.
