Well, the shutdown is over, and we’re sort-of back up and running, for three weeks. Just enough time for us to fight among ourselves over whether it was worth it, before it all starts all over again in February.
Exciting!
It’s almost enough to make you forget you just found out your president was sex spanked by a porn star! Remember when that was the sort of thing that was considered a problem?
Listen right here at 9:00 AM ET!
Podcasts! Am I right, people? Ha ha! I know, right!
Well, screw all of those other ones! This one has Greg Dworkin, Joan McCarter, and even Armando. Plus also, me. And you! Yes! You know how things are, these days. If you want something done right, you've got to do it yourself. Sit down with your smart phone or other electronic recording device and send us your stories and commentary to share with the audience. There’s no easier way to try your hand at podcasting, without all the hassle!
Of course, even if you do do things yourself, the modern condition is the same everywhere: We need money to do it. Create the media you’ve always wanted! Join us with monthly donations via Patreon, or one-time contributions via Square Cash. (And hey, if you want a cool trick for donating sorta-kinda cost free, get their cash.me app and use this share code to get $5 in your account (plus $5 in mine) when you send your first $5 (to anyone)!
Not sure yet whether we’re really the greatest thing since sliced bread? Check out our last LIVE show and see for yourself:

Each day, KITM brings you to the forefront of the latest news and opinion, unless it’s later than 11 Eastern. So don’t peek at any of that new stuff! Instead, listen as David Waldman spoons up a subtly, salty KITM, the caviar of podcasts: Want a wall? Luis Gutierrez has got your wall right here. Just how reasonable are the Republicans? They don’t see that as part of the deal. Greg Dworkin tells us the Trump shutdown is being driven by a hardline immigration stance, and a tribal battle over what it means to be an American. The two sides are speaking with two languages, while the Dotard in Chief can barely speak one. President Miller and the Republicans should be blamed. The Gop sees Dreamers as criminals on parole. Meanwhile, the shutdown reveals a Democratic Party becoming a little less wussy, maybe even a little... Republican in tactics. The Women’s March voting bloc is set to be bigger than the Tea Party’s by the same ratio of their protest marches. Greg checks the latest polling, with special attention to likely voters. A Trump appointee will keep government small by not showing up to work. That’s not where they get their paychecks anyhow. Trump thinks Zinke shouldn’t drill in his own backyard. Armando calls in to count the shutdown votes, say goodbye to the I-Man, and talk caucus vs. primary rules and the future of the Democratic Party.
