Restore the Delta today received confirmation from reputable sources that the Joint Legislative Budget Committee (JLBC) hearing for the State Water Project contract extension has been postponed... again. This was after members of the public, NGOs and some news media put pressure on key legislators and the Brown Administration to delay the hearing until contract amendments related to the Delta tunnels were finished and read by Committee members.
Restore the Delta will be issuing a formal statement in response to this news tomorrow morning. I will report more about this issue here on the Daily Kos tomorrow.
