In WAYR?, I note what I’m reading and comment...you note what you are reading and comment. Occasionally, I may add a section or a link related to books…picking back up, again...

Permanent reading list:

The Complete Essays by Michel de Montaigne- II.12- An apology for Raymond Sebond.

The Complete Sherlock Holmes  Vol. 1 by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle- The Hound of the Baskervilles.- I have completely stalled on my Sherlock reading.

I am reading:

On the Other Side of Freedom: The Case for Hope by DeRay McKesson- Reading this in small doses now...there’s a sort of ‘’hope theology’’ in these essays that’s very subtle, secular, and very familiar to me. I’ve actually been reading a little bit about ‘’hope theology’’ on the side preparing the review for this.

Fear: Trump in the White House by Bob Woodward

Labyrinths of Iron by Benson Bobrick- I have long wanted to write a novel with the Chicago el as something resembling a central character...that is the reason that I picked up this book about the history of underground transportation even though Chicago makes nary an appearance in it (portions of the train system in Chicago, especially downtown in The Loop, are underground)
