On Nov. 7, 2020, at 7347 State Road in northeast Philadelphia, history was made. This is the place where Rudy Giuliani, a convicted sex offender, and other like-minded Trump surrogates held their press conference challenging all of Pennsylvania’s votes. More specifically, all of the votes in Pennsylvania where Black people live. Giuliani and Trump had promoted the appearance in front of the Four Seasons … Landscaping company. The optics were magnificent! Right next to an adult book store.
While this stunt didn’t help Donald Trump and his campaign to steal the election away from Joe Biden, it has helped the landscaping company, which has very quickly pivoted to selling merchandise. T-shirts saying things like Make America Rake Again are best sellers according to NPR. A Lego artist even came up with a beauty of a set memorializing the event. Now, according to The Architect’s Newspaper, over 2,500 people have signed a Change.org petition trying to get the site recognized for its small part in this historic election: “We as a nation need to remember where the travesty of the Trump administration died with a whimper.” The petition calls for the U.S. to “Add Four Seasons Total Landscaping to the national register of historic places.”
Giuliani is in Philadelphia right now attempting to litigate away the millions of Black votes that went predominantly to Joe Biden. It isn’t going so well because Giuliani is a trash pile of a human being who, outside of the corrupt confines of New York City, has very little in the way of juice.
