Well, in an effort to settle the "brokered convention" question, I've started to track SuperDelegates.

I need help finding out who these SuperDelegates are supporting. Click "There's more..." for full information.
I've culled information from various politcal Web sites that track such things, including the excellent and frequently updated
http://Politics1.com/
I've added the names of all of the DNC Members, who are all SuperDelegates. I've used what I believe to be an accurate and relatively up-to-date DNC Member list, although if you are involved in local party politics and you see any discrepancies, please let me know. I was surprised that Steve Grossman wasn't on the DNC list. As a former Chairman, I figured he'd be a member.
There are about 200 names missing. These are the remaining Dem. congresscritters and Democratic Governors, Clinton, Carter, and anyone else important enough to be a SuperDelegate w/o even trying. As far as I know, none of these people have endorsed anyone, so I won't bother adding them until they do.
So, now that I've gotten as far as I can by just compiling data, I need to ask for the help of local people. I will try and get all of the Massachusetts DNC Members (I think all but one are for Kerry, with one for Dean, but I will ascertain that shortly.) If you are involved in local Democratic politics and know who some of the names on this list are supporting, please let me know.
Please DON'T call any of them and bother them at this point, because I'm not sure whether or not that's acceptable. While some of these people are in public office and thus have staffs able to answer the phones, a good chunk have full time jobs outside of politics.
However, if you happen to run into them socially, or hear them speak publicly, and they favor one candidate or another, please let me know.
Thanks so much if you are able to help!
