The next question I want answered regarding Al Qaqaa is this:
Because our troops entered Al Qaqaa without specific orders to secure items on the Inspector's watch lists, specifically these explosives, then it is possible that WMD's hidden at this site may have also walked off before the Weapons team arrived on May 27th.
Think about it. Since the administration is playing in hypotheticals, then this is entirely possible. I'd love to see the Kerry surrogates float this hypothetical if the Bushies float theirs.
Since we were so sure about WMD's, why did our teams enter Iraq without a list of bases to secure, inspect, and HOLD in the face of the onslaught of looters? Because they failed at Al Qaqaa, Maybe this is how the WMD's never showed up?
After all, as best I can tell, all the troops were told to do is secure ministries and oil lines.
Great job keeping us safe, Dear leader
