Cold Civil War? "Political Passions Near a Fever Pitch"

An article in the LA TIMES this morning was just stunning, and felt so REAL...I can feel the tension between my neighbors and myself...a Dad next door who I respect a great deal has been a Bush supporter, and it's just been hard to talk to him.

My Mom and brothers think my Dad is nuts for supporting Bush, and I've gotten to the point that I look at a Bush supporter and think one of two questions: Are you totally ignorant? Have you read a newspaper in the past 12 months? Do you realize what's happening here?

I hope this period ends soon, Kerry wins, and he finds a way to bring the country back together. Whether that means having McCain in a cabinet post - that's fine...just something.

And I hope Bush is impeached - I learned it is possible to impeach a President even after he is out of office. This country needs to know what he's REALLY done these past few years...
