I Love and am totally Pissed at Clinton....

The President that defined the cultural atmosphere of my youth was on ABC tonight.

There is no doubt this is a great man - a great leader. He loved the job of President, and he labored long and hard over his decisions. He did what it took to cut the deficit - but he also sold NAFTA on the huge misconception that it would create jobs here in America. But when it came to the matters of war and peace, prosperity and destitution - Clinton led, in turn contrasting the failures of Reagan and both Bush Presidencies.

The topic of Impeachment and the Right-Wing noise machine against him came up. Clinton had a wonderful moment where he shot back at Peter Jennings, saying that it was the MEDIA that gave credibility to the LIES that were blasted against him over his entire term. From "Whitewater" to "Travelgate" - it was all lies and Clinton knew it.

But the Lewinsky matter gave credibility to the LIES - and think about this - without Lewinsky we would have just celebrated the possible re-election of President Gore.

Clinton knew they were after him, knew they were lying, and he still had that affair with Monica - which in turn led to the disaster of the Bush Presidency. Think about this too - without Lewinsky, Gore would have picked someone other than Lieberman as VP - and we quite possibly could have had a Gore/Kerry Presidency from 2000 - 2016.

Clinton is a great man - but my fear is that blow job will one day be viewed on the same level as the assasination of Archduke Francis Ferdinand.

Why did he do it when he knew he was being hunted?
