Anyone else catching whiffs in the air surrounding the WH Press Corps that remind them of the hunger for a "mea culpa" moment from Clinton at the height of his sex scandal?

People are clearly realizing the President has made some errors. The longer he refuses to acknowledge this, the wider the gulf between him and the press will become. The question is whether or not this will drive his public approval up or down.

Clinton faced impeachment over a blow-job and his approval rating rose. Bush is getting away with murder... maybe this will make voters realize that it's up to them to contain him.
